6-5-10 Porn Stars vs Liquor and Poker

Division playoff to stay in league 1.
Well as always this season we put up a fight but in the end lost.
We finished last season as 2nd from top in league 2 and finished this season 2nd from bottom league 1.

Well skittles maybe over but this year Season 09/10 Report has yet to be published and as always we shall try and meet up most weeks
replacing skittles with cards.
Also to look forward to is the footy World Cup with the Liquor and Poker's sweepstake todo.

Presidents Cup Rd 2

We went to Montacute WMC to take on Armidillos in the Presidents cup Rd 2.
Well we were down after the first but we fought back and in the end a we looked good but then we were put under pressure in the last and we had no answer.
A loss by only ¹pin which is gunna hurt.
Well now all thoughs turn to next Thursdays Division ¹Survival Match. Neutral Alley - Johnson Park - vs Porn Stars of Thr Bell Inn - winner stays up loser plays Division 2 skittles next year.

League Game 26 Home vs Anthill Mob

Well this was the last league game of this season.
A win would see us sweating it out on other results going our way for divison ¹security or a loss would mean divison 2 skittles next season.
Well as always we put up a fight to the end but in the end another loss see us going back to divison 2 where we were promoted from last year.

Good news is we are still in the Presidents Cup which we play next week which keeps our season going. at the moment we are the Portsmouth of Skittles (but without the debt), demoted but going for cup glory.

15-04-10 Presidents Cup RD1 Home vs The Full Monty

Presidents Cup RD¹or as we call it the 'ONO' cup. ¹hand ordinary (rough skittles) next hand nomi and so on.
We may be near the bottom of Div¹but we played The Full Monty who are at the bottom are bottom if Div3 with only 2 points.
Well it didn't start off to great and we were 3 down but then we turned up the heat and our recent form returned and by the end of the night we won by 49.
So were through to RD2
Rob hit the highest with 44 but had a playoff for the rollover tote as Steve who played irrelevant skittles also hit 44. A two hand playoff was had and Steve take the money.

Next game is our last League Game, home vs Anthill Mob. if all results go our way and we can win our game you never know but we could still be playing Div¹skittles next year...

Latest Stoke League Standings

Dear Captains This is the penultimate league tables. Last time to check where you team is and to see what you have to do in your last game. Some teams have already won their leagues others are definitely going down but there are still points up for grabs. Division 1 - Winners - Six Amigos but with 3 teams still chasing runners up spot Division 2 - Winners - Cupid Stunts and 2 teams in the running for 2nd place Division 3 - Pete Pirates need and win or a draw to secure top spot from Dangle Berries with 2 other teams after the runners up spot Next week is Round 1 of the Presidents Cup, see below for a reminder of the draw Also check out the sample website where your company logo could appear.

We won again, that 3 on the bounce.

18-03-10 Liquor and Poker vs B Team

Great 1st half performance and we were 25 pins up. A few beers later and couple of games of cards we did lose a hand by 14 pins but overall a victory came our way.
Busy week next week playing Tuesday and Thursday.
Tuesday is our catchup game from January when we had snow and could not make it out to play Stoke Rangers and Thursday we are home again vs Let Em Roll.
