Great 1st half performance and we were 25 pins up. A few beers later and couple of games of cards we did lose a hand by 14 pins but overall a victory came our way.
Busy week next week playing Tuesday and Thursday.
Tuesday is our catchup game from January when we had snow and could not make it out to play Stoke Rangers and Thursday we are home again vs Let Em Roll.

11-03-10 League Game 22 away vs Six Amigos

Well we come to play Aix Amigos, Div ¹leaders on the back of our win last week.
We showed them why we were bottom of the league and lost every hand...
Relegation is looking a cert, but we will fight on.

Great game of skittles especially when you win.
We won 3 hands, drew 2 and lost 1.
Victory by 14 pins with most of the damage done in the first 2 hands.
There was even a playoff for the Rollover Tote between Gra and Steve with Steve taking it after an extra 2 hands.

We now go into next weeks game, away vs top of the league Six Amigos chasing another victory and what a scalp that would be.

League Game 20 away vs Jacket Spuds at Con Club Yeovil

We came, we saw, we lost.
Even with the Birthday Boy Gra we couldn't quite do it.
It was a nip and tuck game, win a few pins lose a few more.

Nomination Cup Quarter Final vs B Team

We started the night at the Armoury as it was a home tie but due to an alley booking cockup we ended up giving away home advantage and played at Stoke WMC top alley.
After settling down to our new surroundings and having kickout the band which was practicing the game got underway about an hour late.
The game had it all, ducks. missed spares and drama.
After 6 hands a piece we were tied and an extra hand had to be played. We hit a 37 and they managed a 40.

Well time to focus on the league (or is that too late aswell)

Nomination Pairs Cup Final

Liquor and Poker played in the final of the Pairs Cup.
So how did Gra and Dex come to be playing. Well the pair was decided by who had the best scores last league game which was Bod and Brit.
Brit dropped out earlier this week promoting Gra. Then Bod dropped out late Thurs meaning Chappers can take to the stage. Next Chappers too ill to play leaving Dex, Steve and Coll to spoof for the place along side Gra. Steve drops out due to a bad back leaving Dex and Coll to spoof it out (does no-one want to play with Gra!). Dex wins the Spoof and we're on first.
Nomination skittles infront of a packed alley with a total of 14 teams plus supporters makes it a nervy game.
We played good enough to get passed the knockout stage when only the top 6 teams carried on and finished 5th overall.
